Tomorrow i leave for houston. I'm actually really looking forward to it. I get to miss a day of school to play music. Today, jazz band got to play during all the lunches, i don't think many people appreciated it. Oh well, it's more fun that way :).
i went home, then went to richardson square mall and played ddr. i played for about 3 hours, then got tired, and went home.

I had to be at school at 7 this morning for jazz band. It's ok though, it doesn't bother me, even thought i have to do it tomorrow, when i normally wouldn't have to be at school till 9:20 :/. After school i had band practice. After band practice i had music learning band practice. I got home around 9:15 and then ate some taco bueno <--highlight of my day. I should probably start my homework. I need to stop procrastinating, i'm actually trying to pull all A's this quarter...

I just got an email from my old drum teacher who moved to LA. it made me really happy to see that he still hadn't forgotten about us dallas students :), ryan, if you're reading this you know who i'm talking about. yeah, today was decent. I felt like shit when i woke up, my throat still hurts, but my mother made me go to school. Oh well, it's not like i really dislike school. In theology today i had to lead a prayer service, and teach people how to be rocks and cats, i think that was the highlight of my day. I had drum lessons after school, which like always ran late and my mommy came in and got angry because she had been sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes.
Man, i wish i had something meaningful to put in this journal besides stuff i do every day.

sorry for lack of updates, havn't really felt compelled to do so.
weekend recap:
friday - went up to town east with susan, spencer and katie. we played ddr and pump it up for a while, then walked around and got some food. Susan is a vegetarian, so at chick fila she order a chicken sandwhich without the chicken. When the guy working there heard this he thought she was kidding. it was awesome, afterwards they just came back to my house for a while and we just hung out.
Saturday - woke up with my throat hurting... went to the mall, AAA'd 1998 and jam jam reggae, then went home. Dillon, tyler, joey, james, ryan t all came over and we played music/hung out. We then decided it was time to go see a movie, so we went and saw dawn of the dead. We met up with maggie at the theatre. After the movie we just hung out outside the place because we had to wait for maggie to get picked up. After she was, we all departed for my house, hung out there for a little bit, then joey, james, and vinni left. Me, tyler, dillon and ryan just watched chappele show/house of 1000 corpses (really fucked up movie) and then went to sleep.
Sunday - woke up with an even sorer throat, lost my voice. I told the guys they should probably go home cause i'm pretty sick, they said ok. Since they left i went and got food, and then sat on my lazy ass all day because my parents won't let me leave because i'm sick. Oh well

Today i got the great to idea to start passing a note with ro. soon enough our innocent note had turned into a giant rant about sex. I believe a few comments were made like, "let's make love... right here in a geometry" and "i'll get my camera and film it so we can put it on the internet!". Well, when the note was being passed back one of the last times, ms wolff took notice and made me give her the note. I turned bright red and knew right there... "this is it... my life is over." however... something funny happened then. I learned something new... ms. wolff has a sense of humor. she opened the note, read a little, and began laughing uncontrollably. She said ms. roberts was going to love to read it, however, i honestly didn't think she was too angry or else she would have kicked us out right there. well, me and ro talked, i almost urinated on myself, and the bell rang. me and ro both approached ms wolff with a sullen look on our faces, and i uttered the phrase, "ms. wolff.... we need to talk." we go off easy, all she did was reprimand us and tell us not to do it again... I'm one lucky bastard.

I am soooo sick of hearing people talk about the passion, however now it's my turn. through alot of self searching i have realized i am in fact a christian, but to what extent? First... i think the catholic religion is a load of shit. I despise it with every fiber of my being. I would be so much of a better christian if i hadn't been exposed to the catholic beliefes, because then i would in fact be a blind follower. i would believe without understanding. But thanks to the oh-so-wonderful catholic faith, i have now analyzed the bible to no extent, and honestly, think the catholic beliefes are a laod of shit. but that aside, i saw the passion, and what did i think? i liked it, i went into it expecting to see jesus die, and low and behold, he died. I didn't cry, i didn't feel "changed", no more spiritual than when i entered. Does this make me a bad person? I am so sick of people having this "holier-than-thou" view of me. Who cares if i don't believe the same thing you do? get over it, and if people want to be defensive about their religion, that's great, just don't fucking talk to me about it, because quite frankly, with the amount of time you spent ranting about how i'm wrong and my believes are wrong, i could be doing something productive, like masturbating. thanks.

sorry about the lack of updates, but this one will be a BIG one seeing as i'm home sick. So i wake up, shower, dress, ect. and get in the car. on the way to school while studying for megher's test, i suddenly feel queazy (at this point we're turning onto ferguson from buckner). I inform my mother, and she hands me a ziplock bag. at just that moment.. a dark brown mass of party burritos/stomach acid emerges from my mouth. My mommy decides it's best if i go home. I'm not sure, but i think it's because i ate a party burrito that was about 5 days old last night. Anyways, so re-cap on this weekend.
Friday - went to valley view like usual. Met up with alot of the bmtx crew and met some new people. I watched tim beat time crisis 3 in 26 minutes on one credit losing only one life. i got one great on irrestiblement, nothing too exciting. I met up with stewart, and we proceeded to go to speed zone. Seemed like a cool place, except 1.50 = 3 songs. So i bought a 5 dollar card, and played a few games. After that, stewart came over and spent the night. We just hung out and listened to jazz and stuff, there was also some ddr learnin' going on.
Saturday - wake up to find that SOMEONE felt the need to cover my lawn/stewarts car in baby powder, and write obscene phrases on stewarts car. so, we drove through a car wash and got some donuts, and all was well. Around 2, my band came over and we practiced for a while. Then came battle of the bands. All in all it was a fun night. I'm still pissed about those 3 guys in front, and the sound crew mess-up. But it's all ok. There's always next year. Anyways, i talked to one of the judges afterwards, and he said one of our big problems was we were catering to the wrong audience. Totally understandable... i mean... what normal high school kid listens to funk/fusion? Anyways, dillon took me home, i unloaded my drums, and slept like a baby.
Sunday - woke up, cleaned the whole upstairs so that it would be acceptable for the 8th grade party. After taht, i went to valley view to get my arrow-smash on. I got adventurous, and decided to play kind lady for the first time in god knows how long. Much to my surprise...
nothing else to crazy, i left and went home and got dressed for the 8th grade party. That was actually alot of fun, michael and megan bebb were working at my house, so it was pretty cool. The 8th graders were hysterical. They kept asking about what kind of questions they ask on the interviews, haha. The party was actually pretty short, so the kids left, and i went upstairs and looked at my homework only to find, I HAD NONE! so i went to sleep

well i would like to start off this post by saying katie kellagher is by far the coolest person i have ever met. I would like to be just like her and i think that is what i might have to spend the rest of my life doing. Basically... I worship her. sure we dont talk much and i avoided her in the hallways for like a month but we are past that now and now sometimes i say hi to her in the halls or just run into her like i didn't even see her. muahaha. if you dont know katie kellagher then i think you shoule get to know her... acually scratch that i dont want you basterds getting to know her because i want all her coolness for myself. I know this may seem a bit selfish but you know what they say "finders keepers." Katie is a very interesting person and her unbelievable coolnessi would have to say "runneth over" if you will. We could sit and talk or not talk for hours.. i mean... we both like soup! yes katie kellagher the girl that this post is all about, she likes that movie (best in show) if you haven't seen it .. then go see it so you can be more like her. well that about wraps in up. i want to be katie kellagher

Weather Report - teen town |

Last night was the senses fail concert, it was fucking crazy. The night started out with some ddr, me and dillon went and played a little, nothing too exciting. Then casper picked me up around 6:45, and we went to taco bueno and hax3d some party burritos. From there we headed down to deep ellum. We parked on main street, unfortunaltey to get to the door we had to walk half a mile from his parking spot. Well, after we got there, the line was incredibly long, so casper bought a ticket from a homeless guy, and i found some people i knew and got in line there. I saw alot of people i hadn't seen in a long time, and i got to hang out with sabrina for the first time in god knows how long. The first few bands were cool, but finally senses fail got up. I got to the very front of the crowd at center stage and then continued to be pummeled by crowd surfers falling on/kicking my head. I took the abuse for about an hour. After that me and casper headed home, well, it turned out i think i over did it a little, in fact i wasn't quite walking right after we got out. I got home and my parents thought i was stoned, and threatened to drug test me again. After i finally told them i wasn't (my dad even took off my shoes and checked to see if i had any pot in them) they let me take a shower. It turns out i was incredibly dehydrated, my parents said i didn't have any color in my face. But after i got out of the shower and drank a couple bottles of water i was fine. Now i have to write a paper on the contrast of good and evil in dante's inferno, exciting huh?
